Neighbourhood coffee done right. Single-origin espresso, cold brew, lattes, and flat whites. Open daily 8am–7pm on Davie Street in the West End.
N3 Cafe isn't a chain. We're a neighbourhood cafe on Davie Street in Vancouver's West End, steps from Providence Health Care and St. Paul's Hospital. We pull shots every morning at 8am, and we're here until 7pm, seven days a week.
Our difference isn't complicated: quality espresso, real milk, no shortcuts. We source single-origin beans that punch above their weight. Every latte gets proper microfoam. Every americano is pulled fresh. We're fast—but not rushed.
Whether you're a healthcare worker grabbing your morning hit before a shift, a student studying on Davie, or a local catching up with a friend, we've built this cafe for people who notice the difference between good coffee and mediocre coffee.
Every drink under $13. Made to order. Plant-based milk available on all espresso drinks.
Single-origin sourcing: We don't use commodity-grade espresso. Every bag is traceable. You taste the difference the moment the first shot pulls.
Proper preparation: Espresso demands precision. Grind, tamp, timing, temperature—all of it matters. We dial in every morning and adjust throughout the day.
Plant-based milk: Oat, almond, soy. We steam them the same way as dairy. Texture over everything.
Speed without sacrifice: You get in, order, wait 90 seconds, and walk out with coffee that's worth talking about. No pretension. Just consistent, good work.
We're built for the morning coffee crowd. N3 sits 1 minute walk from Providence Health Care (1776 Thurlow) and St. Paul's Hospital (1081 Burrard, 2 min walk). PHC clinics are on Davie itself, a 60-second stroll from our door.
That matters when you're starting a 12-hour shift. You need coffee that's actually good—not vending-machine-adjacent. You need it fast. You need to walk straight from the cafe to your desk or unit without backtracking.
N3 opens at 8am every day of the week. You won't find us closed because it's a holiday or Sunday. We're the cafe that's open when you start work.
We rotate single-origin espressos from specialty roasters. Current rotation includes Ethiopian naturals, Kenyan washed, and Colombian microlots. Ask your barista what's in the grinder today—they can tell you exact farm, altitude, and tasting notes.
We offer small (8oz) and large (12oz) for all espresso drinks. Price stays under $10 regardless of size. Cold brew is served as-is in a 16oz cup.
Yes. Same quality single-origin decaf in espresso. Pull time is slightly longer, but flavour stays clean.
Dairy milk is local BC sourced. Plant-based options (oat, almond, soy) are organic-certified. Ask your barista for specifics.
Tell us. We'll remake it on the spot—no questions. Your satisfaction is non-negotiable.
